What you can design online
The assistant works for every competition style: a short Latin or Rhythm dress with fringe, a long Standard (Ballroom) gown with floats and feather boa, or a Smooth dress with a slit. You choose the colour, neckline, back, sleeves, skirt and decoration: crystals, 3D flowers, appliqués, feathers. The sketch is drawn in the manner of our atelier’s illustration sheets: two views of the same dress, front and back, on one page with your name.

How it works

2. Leave your email and see the sketch. In about a minute the sketch appears on screen and the full-resolution file goes to your inbox. You can ask for up to two changes.

The sketch you get here is not a final design. It is a way for us to understand your taste: what you love in a neckline, a skirt, a colour. Grand Amour dresses are original ideas, not a repetition of what you see on the dance floor, and that is exactly what an AI cannot do. We will use your sketch as a starting point to create a new, original look for you.

Is it really free? Yes. The sketch and the price offer cost nothing. You decide afterwards.
How much does a custom dance dress cost? Custom dresses at Grand Amour start from 1,800 USD; Latin dresses with fringe usually from 2,500 USD, Standard gowns with feather boa from 3,500 USD. The final price depends on stones, feathers and details and is named together with the artist’s sketch.
How long does it take to make a dress? Production takes 6–8 weeks after the sketch is approved; a rush order in 2–3 weeks is possible if fabrics are in stock.
What happens with my email? We use it to send you the sketch and to reply with our offer. Nothing else, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Can I order exactly the dress from the sketch? You can, but we will suggest something better. Every Grand Amour dress starts from your preferences and becomes an original design, drawn by our artist and agreed with you before we cut the fabric.
